Things you need to know
What we do.
We are a small group technical development program, focusing purely on :
'Footwork in tight spaces'
as we believe this forms the base on which all other football technique can be built upon and it is impossible to do this well enough in a team based environment.

When do we do it.
Saturday Afternoon's
during school terms.
Session Times :
6-8 year olds* : 1 to 2pm
9-12 year olds* : 2 to 3.30pm
13 years old and older : 3.45 to 5.15pm.
*Not exact : Advance players may player up in a later session.
Who do we do it for.
Starting from scratch
We love to start the technical development process from scratch. This is the best way to establish good habits and avoid developing bad habits.
Developing elite level players
After this, we work with players from 8 years old up to 16 years old, who love the game and are willing to work hard to improve and play at the highest level possible.
Why do we do it.
Clubs are great at a lot of things, except nurturing and accelerating technique. Australia as a nation does a poor job producing highly technical players.
Obviously we can’t make much of a difference at a national level, but we want to make sure that players in Melbourne have access to an environment where
on the ball technique and the ability to play in tight spaces is nurtured.

Please note we only take beginners in the 1-2pm session (6-8 year olds). It is expected that all players in all other sessions, are playing at a club and want to be at TST because they love the game, are prepared to work hard to improve and have ambition to play at a higher level than they currently do.
